Riley

Here are pictures from Riley's birth to 9 months. Don't worry, no actual shots from the birth itself. That would be just gross.

The first one is one of me still pregnant. This is a shot from my baby shower at work, I think I was 34 weeks pregnant here. I quit working shortly after this.

I lucked out, I had an easy pregnancy. No morning sickness, and the labor was relatively easy. No complications, it went very smoothly.

This next picture is from the day she was born, it is the first time her daddy got to hold her. My day started early and ended pretty late, by the end, when everyone had gone home, I think I had been up for almost 24 hours.

Here she is. She had beautiful coloring after she was born, she was a little red, but not like most newborns, and she had hair!!! I was so excited about the hair.

This next one is when she was 3 months old, it was taken while we were on vacation in Victoria, BC.

Here she is with her big blue eyes. She doesn't remember much from this vacation, so we took a ton of pictures to help her remember. This is also the first time she went swimming. So we had to get a super cute bathing suit, which was too big, I had to tie the straps together in the back. Here is a picture from swimming.

The next one we have is when she is 4 months old. In October we went took her to a pumpkin patch, and got her her first pumpkin.

This next one is of her and daddy with her first pumpkin.

Next we have one from her first Thanksgiving. She has a lot of cousins. I think all together there are nine of them, including Riley.

This is her first snow.

Here is her Christmas picture. She is 6 months old here.

When she was 6 months old we went down to Guatemala for Christmas to visit some friends of ours that are missionaries down there. We arrived in Guatemala on Christmas Eve. Here is a picture of her and "Bro. Missionary".

These next three are also in Guatemala with some more of Bro. Missionary's family.

Here she is with Auntie Kayla

Here she is with her very first crush, Kyle Edington.

Here she is with Kolbey Edington

This one is her getting a bath in a bucket in Guatemala.

Since we got home in January, we have had two snow falls, I was able to get a few pictures of her in the snow from the first snow. This one was taken in March. She was 9 months old here.

The next one is her 9 month picture. We were blessed here with some wonderful sunshine, I took advantage of the beautiful weather and got some good shots of Riley out in the sun.

The last ones are from Easter, the first one is with her Daddy on Easter Sunday, again we got beautiful weather.

This next one is her first time sitting in the grass, apparently not a big fan of it...

And last but not least, her first tooth!!!

Riley's First Vacation

Our Vacation to Victoria, BC

Here is a picture from our ferry ride, from Anacortes to BC.

Riley was 3 months old for her first vacation.
Joe and I had gone to Victoria for our first anniversary, and I loved it, I couldn't wait to go back again. So when we had Riley, I begged Joe to take us back to Victoria.

We took some friends with us. They have 2 kids of thier own, a 3 year old, Corina, and 9 month old Joey, here is a pcture of the family.

Randy, Janan, Corina, and Joey Lundmark.

And here is a picture of Joey, 9 months old and his daddy Randy.

While we were there, we went to The Royal London Wax museum, kinda creepy, it was like everyone really was staring at you. We also went to a undersea garden, that was pretty cool, we got to see all kinds of fish, starfish, octopus ( a small one).

We toured the Victoria harbour in little harbour ferries, here is a picture of one. They were very cute.

About half way through the week, the Lundmarks left. So we had the rest of the week, with just us. Having Randy and Janan with us was alot of fun, but it was also nice to spend some time together as a family.

After they left, we went whale watching, it was fun!!! We actuallly got to see some. There were three or four pods. They were very playful, they came right up to the boat, they were showing off and just having fun. Here is a picture of Riley on the boat.

Here are a couple of pictures of the whales, one is of one male coming right up to the boat, and the other is of a pod aways away from the boat, spalshing around.

On the day we were scheduled to leave, Joe got the ferry departure time wrong, we got up way before the birds, and drove about an hour or so to the ferry docks, got there and found out that it didn't leave for another 2 hours. So while we were sitting there waiting, we got to see a beautiful sunrise. Here are a couple of pictures of it.

And now the last picture, and my favorite of the whole vacation. Riley and her daddy on the ferry ride home.
